City Pitch empowers young people to make a difference in their community, while developing confidence and key business skills such as project management and presentation skills.

The experience provides 8-18 year-olds with a chance to present their business plan to a panel of experts in a high profile setting at City Hall. Participants pitch for a share of funding to implement their project and in doing so, boost aspirations, awareness and their access routes to the world of work.

The children put forward their business plan for funding in a Dragon's Den style pitch - and their plea was successful!

They returned in the afternoon with a big cheque for £1,500 which will be used for funding  an
eco-garden which we hope will make a positive difference in the school.
