Our mixed football squad continue to train enthusiastically every Monday under the guidance of Mr. McKenzie, who has been supporting the team in developing their skills and confidence. They are taking part in regular borough fixtures, giving them valuable competitive experience. This season, the team have already celebrated a strong win  and have narrowly missed out in a few matches. With each game, they are growing in cohesion, learning how to play to one another’s strengths, and showing real progress on the pitch.

While representing the school, the players have consistently demonstrated our Rabbsfarm Values and Culture Curriculum, acting as excellent ambassadors for themselves, their families and the wider school community. Their attitude, resilience and teamwork have been clear to see.

This year, Noah Wilmot has taken on the role of team captain after showing outstanding leadership, commitment and sportsmanship throughout training. The team are competing in both the Large Schools League and the Borough Cup, which run throughout the season and offer plenty of opportunities for growth and success.

We are delighted to have a dedicated girls’ football squad who take part in weekly training every Tuesday with Mr Knibbs, a visiting coach from the Brentford Football Club Community Trust. This year, the team have already taken part in both a football festival and a competitive tournament, performing brilliantly at each event. Our squad includes enthusiastic players from Years 5 and 6, all bringing different levels of experience and passion for the game. It has been wonderful to see them grow in confidence, support one another, and develop their skills each week. We are excited for the range of tournaments scheduled across the year and look forward to seeing the team continue to progress and nurture their love of football.
