Our Football Team are currently training weekly with the Brentford Coach, Calum, and are competing in matches on a weekly basis.  So far, they have had 3 losses and 1 win.  However, our win was a sight to be seen!  The final score was 6-0! We have now scored more goals than we have had scored against us, which is a statistic we are happy to have!

The team are playing in the Large Schools League, as well as the Borough Cup (they run alongside each other). We had our first Cup Match on Wednesday 10th November against St Catherine's. The boys are in high spirits and are improving as the weeks go by.

The netball team is made up of four Year 6 students and four Year 5 students who are currently training weekly with our wonderful coach, Lisa.

Lisa has worked wonders with the girls, who all but one are new to the sport. Having little to no prior experience, the team have had to work extremely hard to learn the rules, positions and general strategy of the game. With no encouragement from anyone, the team arranged to meet every lunchtime to go through drills and have shooting practice and the feedback I have been getting from their coach is heart-warming.  So far, they lost their first game and won their second game against Colham Manor (12-0).   Unfortunately, there are only 5 teams in our league, which means our games are more sporadic. We only have 4 in the diary for the year, however, we are planning to play friendly matches with other schools, who are at a similar level.

Kind regards
